 - Play the recording for Ss to listen & repeat.

- Play guessing  game have  ps play the game in small group. They should take turns acting out their hobbies while the others guess what the hobbies are.

Pre – task:

- Ask Ss to look at the pictures on page 49.

- Tell them that they are going to listen to four  dialogues about hobbies & number the correct pictures.

Task – cycle:

- Help them to identify the similarities and differences who the characters are and what they like doing.

- Play the recording through for Ss to listen.

- Play again for Ss to do the task.

- Play once more for Ss to check their answers.

- Ask Ss to exchange their answers with their partners before reporting them to the class.

- Announce the answers to the class, provide explanations when necessary.

- Ask some questions to ensure Ss’ comprehension of the text.

(10’)

- Have pupils open their books to Page 49. Get Ss to read the dialogue and to write the answer to the question about someone’s  hobbies.

- Ask them to look at the question what do you like doing in the first two pictures. Then have them find the answer by using the pictures cues. Then get ps to look at the question what’s your hobby ? in the last two pictures

- Pupils read individually silently and complete the dialogues.

- Pair works. Pupils give their answers for correction.

- Ask some pupils to read their answers aloud to the class. The rest of the class listen and give comments.

- Make a few questions to check pupils’ comprehension of the reading text.

Game What’s your hobby ?

- Explain how the game is played. Tell Ss that they are going to play the game What’s your hobby ?

- Stick a large sheet of paper with nine hobbies on the board

- Divide them into groups of 5, one ps in group A will mime one of the pharases on the board and ask what’s my hobby ? The other group guess the hobby. The ps group A will say Yes, that’s right or No, that’ wrong.

- Have pupils act out the phrasess e in pairs or groups for correction.

- Give them time to write the words in the gap independently. Have them swap their answers before checking as a class.

Tell ps that they are going to  say the chant. Have them to read the chant and check comprehension. Then play the recording for them to repeat the line twice. Divide the class into 2 groups: one chant the qs and the other chant the answers. Swap the role after one round. Remind ps to pronounce the letters fl ,pl. Call 2 small groups of ps to the font of the class to say the chant. The rest of the class claps a long to the rhythm. Listen. Whole class. Group work.

Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by inviting some ps to read their answer to lesson2 Activity5 alound

- Tell ps that they are going to practice saying the sentence,paying attention to sentence stress

- Play the recording for Ss to listen first.Play it again for them to repeat the sentence twice

 - Have them look at the picture to indentify the book/stories. Teach them how to say the titles of  the books/ stories. Explain the meaning of the new words. Ask them if they have read these stories.

- Get the class to practise saying what they are reading , using the title under the pics.

Point to picture and introduct the question What are you reading ?for the class to answer I’m reading the Fox and the Crow. Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the pics.

- Have ss that they are going to play The Guessing Game to find out the title of the some famous book/stories for childen.Follow the procedure in Games in introduction

-Divide the class into two groups .one gr says three to five sentence (one by one) about a story as  clues to help the other gr guess what story is it .The gr gets one poit if they can guess the story correctly with one sentence , and two points with two sentence , and so on. The gr with the fewest points at the end of the game wins

Each gr takes turn giving the clues or guessing .The one that gets more points wins

- Call on one group to perform the song at the front of the class. The rest of the class sing the song and clap the rhythm.
